Hello,

every time I try to publish a webp image file the post doesn't show the image but only the link, I have to convert the image to jpg and publish again to be able to see the image, maybe this is fixable? or is just on my end this happens?

bellow the same image 1st published in webp, the the same image in jpg.

here I see the post like the image bellow, only the jpg image is shown on the post, the webp shows as attachment.

Yes, most online software and desktop applications can't handle webp, webp support is coming in Xenforo sometime this year.

What i recommend is taking a screenshot of it and saving as jpeg, then uploading.
The tool i recommend is: https://getgreenshot.org/, and i've been using that software for around a decade.
