lf they keep up that rate of progess, they should have it in the bag by next year !!

You know, they've been 'working on' fusion energy for 70+ years. They just got the reaction to be barely stable. The next step is to figure out how to not melt everything around it.

They are using a magnet field to control the plasma. Last break thru they made more energy than used in the reaction. They are getting better at it faster than build a new large nuclear reactor.
