Isn't a soft bag just about being lightweight? Will the heat dissipation not be good Isn't a soft bag just about being lightweight with so many layer.

Is it necessary to pack so many soft bags? So the volume and weight come up, how can it be lightweight? Besides, lithium batteries are prone to explosion at high temperatures, and having so many layers is not conducive to heat dissipation, right?
I originally planned to add an epoxy board between the battery cells, but I bought one with a thickness of 1.5. Firstly, it is difficult to cut, and secondly, it is also heavy and thick. So I bought barley paper to separate them.
Then the entire battery pack was wrapped in a layer of barley paper for waterproofing. Then wrap a layer of foam around it for shock absorption. Then stick an epoxy board around to support and increase hardness. I plan to pack the boxes like this.

Is this about building your own battery packs? What are the units for thickness? What is barley paper? What is that plastic stuff hanging from the top left in the 2nd and 3rd picture?

Barley paper is the green paper with adhesive on one side. Originally used in the telecomm industry, I think it was a pretty reliable insulator, supposedly not too bad in humid conditions, With chinese outfits copying everything as cheaply as possible, you never know what you get. The other stuff in the pictures looks like strapping tape. Pretty sticky stuff and fairly strong with the fibers in it,

I've made DIY packs using a double layer fish paper between the cells, These are putting out about 120 watts most of the time, under 3 amps on 48V. Maybe a few seconds burst to 20A., I don't have to worry about heat, even on the shrink wrapped bricks. I prefer to use cell forms now, and I stick them in empty battery cases you can buy on Aliexpress.

If you want to run high currents in shrinkwrapped packs in a battery bag, then you have to think about the heat. Use a BMS with heat sensors. Or install a few sensors in series with the on/off switch if the BMS has one.
