I've been looking for a project to use a PICAXE micro controller. I've settled on controlling some lighting on the bike and the temperature of the battery case. I'll use the controller to either flash or modulate the light. Maybe pick up the brake switch and make a brake light.

It's always fun to get toys in the mail.

Wall lump 12v power supply. Feed it the 36vdc from the batteries, it works just fine. Small and cheap.

Still toying with the 5v power supply, thinking of using this solar charged usb battery.
