Hello out there,
for our ZXR-E conversion we need some certificates of strength for the Qsmotor 273 12kw 7x6" hub motor rim. Otherwise the technical inspectors want to destroy a spare rim to test it for durability. Can anyone provide such certificates? On the rim is stated "MAX 1100 N", does that mean it is only durable for a weight load of 112kg? That would be a joke, only a 3 year old could ride the bike then, because the actual load is 102kg on the back wheel (the motor itself weighs about 32kg).

I hope the 1100Nm is the maximum tourque the motor can do.

that would be a tire-killer....but it is N and not Nm :)
On Moon it would be enough load capacity....

The chinese don't care....
I have two CoC Papers with massive typos in them.
In one is the wheel base 420mm to short, in the other are wrong rim dimensions and totally wrong weights. Even without battery it has 40kg more than written.

QSmotor has a rep on this forum that monitors their sale thread in items for sale new; you might ask them directly about this. If they don't respond, you could try directly at the website / contact info they ahve posted in that thread.

I contacted them but they can't provide anything for the rim. So I will have to get one to have it destroyed....and then maybe cry about the result....

I got direct replies on my dm from QSMotor. Alan told me that the "max.1100N" refers to maximum load the rim can stand after a finite elements analysis (FEA) calculation. Does that mean 112kg? Can that be real? Or a punctual load without tire? No wonder that this is mentioned NOWHERE in the specs. More questions than before.
If I get one to have it tested by german TUEV in their own laboratory and it fails ... on my costs ...
Getting headache ...
Everytime I pass the bike that parks in my living room I think: look at that beauty, this can´t be true

Good looking build, do you have a build site?
Interested in seeing torque arms, etc,
Wish you luck on your search
