Hi guys this is my first post: about two years ago I built an ebike using a GoldenMotor kit (MagicPie 2) plus a Giant mtb frame and I've been using it quite happily since today.
Now I'm looking for a ready to ride ebike because my main goal is a clean look of the bike itself.
My research lead me to these two names: Specialized and Stromer; the models which are within my budget are the Turbo and ST1.
I learned that the Turbo is now available in 3 versions:
Turbo S - more powerful motor and regen brake
Turbo X - less powerful motor, no regen brake and front suspension
Turbo - less powerful motor, no regen brake and no front suspension
The ST1 instead has many options to choose from.
Right now I'm trying to choose between the Turbo - Turbo X (Turbo S is out of my price range) and the ST1 with the 500W motor.
The features are quite the same for the two brands, but the Turbo where I live is cheaper (300€). I'm almost sold for the Specialized, the only drawback is that it doesn't have regen brake.
Now is up to you guys, are there some features that I'm not considering? Someone has a real-life experience with one of these bikes? Any help would be much appreciated!

I always say look at the quality of the tires. Tires are very important because even the fanciest ebike can get flats if they don't have solid Kevlar tires. Changing a flat tire is a real pain.

Thanks lester, both bikes claims to have anti-puncture tires so at least on paper they are even :) .
Another thing, the battery chemistry: anyone knows which kind of Li-ion are used for the Turbo? The ST1 uses Li-manganese and both are produced by Samsung.
