Hello
I bought YF 48V-72V, 45Amps, 1500W-2500W controller with SW900 LCD screen.
As you can see on the first picture, this LCD has extra two wires (brown and white) with connecting red bridge attached to it.
On the second picture from the controller side, there is connector to SW900 with connected 2pin female to the red wire...

Do these additional plugins have anything in common or not? Is this brown and white from the SW900 side a lock or extra light or something else? What about this 2pin plug from the controller side, what are they? Can someone explain to me please. Thanks

Normally the connect of the display links to a headlight
The connect of the controller links to an ignition switch and if there is no ignition switch, like you are going to use on an e-bike, then link to the red short circuit connector, then short circuit to power on directly. And then your battery switch plays the role of the ignition.

Thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it. So, basically , I'm going to live that red bridge connected (brown/white) on the display side as originally.
Similar, the controller side, originally nothing is connected to that (red/orange) female JST.
I wont use any ignition switch or headlight.
Front and rear light, I've got separate wire/plug coming from the controller for the front and rear light. . So, can I live it like that, without changing anything?
Thank you

Nope, as you wont have ignition, the red bridge connector need connect to the controller. And the display side just link to the front and rear light, but if the light current bigger than 300mA, suggest you separate wire from the battery, and add another light switch for that.
