thread: show more posts per page - howto?

I would like to increase the number of posts per page when reading threads. There seems no configurable option in the prefs but maybe the board software allows some qualifier to append to the url?

As far as i know, you can't.
I have it set to 25 posts per thread because this matches what our previous forum software was set to.
If it changes, the page numbers no longer match, which creates problems with linking to both past and future threads.

You might mean 25 threads per page.

That too. 25 seems to be imposed in a few places, like clicking any of the menu bar options (new, new unread, unanswered, etc) at the top. Knowledgebase too.
