VESC Custom Firmware (EBMX X9000)

Hello, I was wondering if I could run the EBMX X-9000 custom fireware on my VESC Go- Foc G300 because they are both VESC controllers? I asked EBMX Support they said it would short my controller but if I limit the power would it still short or would it work? I just want a SW102 Display to work with my VESC.

It will most likely have bad effects on your controller as they say.

You could request the firmware files from them and copy over the parts relevant to sw102 though if you're any good at programming. VESC bring gpl you can do that...

You need the source code, not the compiled binary. Files should be xyz.h and xyz.c. If they are .bin, then you need to ask harder.
