Votol EM-100 & EM-150 controllers

Hi all. my em150/2 is displaying throttle error with multiple throttles connected, tried every set of voltage params under the sun and even someone who professionally tunes votols doesnt know whats going on.
Does anybody have the firmware for the 150/2 please? im hoping flashing firmware will fix.....
otherwise whole new votol :(

Many users reported the problem "cant store parameters" like Overvoltage and phase current, always comming at 0.
Can anyone guide me to fix this error, i presume from hardware?
Any value I try to put on those fields, and after reconnection they are at 0, maybe some sense resistor is damaged or similar faulty component around.. Mine is Votol EM50SP if anyone can tell / guidecme from this close up picture to check some vol regulator or resistor.... i can do.. thnks in advance!!! (was working fine until started to make cut off at low amps load, so took apart to see mosfets and they seem to be ok, and the rest too, unless a smal sdm resistor is bad and need help to identify), note I have 3.3 6.0v and 14.7v ok, which are the primary low volt power lines

well it seems that the hardware is ok , and the firmware puts 0 on there in case of a "problem" , i could revert this and now is ok but will test the unit to see if it works.
 
hi everyone, is there anyway to use the park function just for once when turn on the bike? the controller continue go to park when press it twice. Thank you
 
Hola a todos. Tengo una controladora votol em 100 y un motor QSMOTOR 3000 V3. Recientemente tuve que embobinar el motor y cambié los sensores hall. Sin embargo, en mi país no conseguí los sensores que traía de fábrica (413f) y le instalé los sensores con referencia 3144. Se me presenta el siguiente problema: con llanta al aire, sin carga, funciona adecuadamente con los parámetros 16 pole pairs y -30 hall angle. Pero, con llanta en el suelo no arranca. Mido el pin del acelerador y éste entrega 2,5v. Desconecto el acelerador y veo que el pin da 6v. La única manera que tuve para hacer arrancar la moto fue poniendo una Powerbank de 5v conectada al pin del acelerador. Alguien podría indicarme si a través de configuración puedo resolver este problema, o sí debo conseguir los sensores de fábrica (413f) o si la solución provisional tendrá alguna consecuencia posterior. Hello everyone. I have a Votol EM 100 controller and a QSMOTOR 3000 V3 motor. Recently, I had to rewind the motor and replaced the Hall sensors. However, I couldn't find the factory-installed sensors (413f) in my country, so I installed sensors with the 3144 reference. I'm encountering the following problem: with the wheel in the air, without any load, it works properly with the parameters set to 16 pole pairs and -30 Hall angle. But when the wheel is on the ground, it won't start. I measured the throttle pin, and it delivers 2.5V. When I disconnect the throttle, I see that the pin gives 6V. The only way I was able to get the bike to start was by connecting a 5V Powerbank to the throttle pin. Could someone please advise if I can solve this problem through configuration, or if I need to get the factory sensors (413f), or if the provisional solution will have any future consequences? Thank you very much.

Hi at all.

I'm happy because I finished to config the my em30s and work very well.

I have only a question.
The seller of the controller says that the controller handle 35A continuously and 50A in sport mode.
Now I use it at max 30A. If I want to push it more current, I need to cool down the controller, but what is the max current allowed?

I suspect that the seller reduce the phase Amps (7800) to achieve what he declared (50A in sport mode). Anyone can tell me what is the max current allowed on the controller?

I try my 10inch hub motor to push it 40A and is a beast but I want to know the limit to don't burn the controller.

Are you sure that the bin file are for EM50SP and not for EM50S? The difference is that the SP has CAN comunication interface, the S version not, has only a serial comunication.

maybe yes maybe not, but previously was uploading with the software with button OPEN (without button connect) then pick OPEN FILE button and selected 7255em50firmware.bin and then was working,,,,,,,, anyway can you Dryden please share correct version?
 
I'm sorry but I not have any firmware. You try to use a simply uart-usb converter to try to connect it.
In the last 3 page(if my memory is good) of this thread, an user post the firmware for votol em50 and say how to fix it.
 
yes, i ve been using that file from that user and i do not if it is for EM50SP or not.... regarding the use of uart-usb , what to do if i can connect? if no success this is very bricked.

If you try and connect with serial-usb converter, you are able to set the controller for your purpose. And you have solved the problem. The last trouble is your display, if is a CAN display, you need exchange it.
 
Dryden connect serial usb? how? what software? what cable??... i have used stlink v2 to program and flashed ok but is not connecting despite that prolific driver is ok....i have original usb cable in case you wonder ....

No, the original not working, because use a fake CAN handshake.
You need to buy a general serial-usb converter.
If you want to be sure, open the cover of your cable, take a picture (good picture, with focusing) a post here.
When the comunication is ok, you can use the standard software to program the controller.

I hope that is not a problem for you... (program the controller with right parameter)
 
Of course i use power lock ignition... im measuring 3.3v on proper pins in the mcu also....... yes tried can and not can (used to work with no can though).... tried at 9600 and 115200 with can enabled and does not respond .. i also tried open file and download but does not progress the bar and never finish

The controller still has the ability to flash firmware even if it is not connected. The steps are the same as with replacing the configuration.

1.Connect the connector as usual.
2.Open the port.
3.Open the advance menu (arrow on the right)
4.Click "Open File" and select the firmware file that I am attaching below.
5. Click Download and wait for the installation to complete, marked by the letter “D” in the top field.

After installation is complete, click Connect...done)

in case this is not working, is there a proper way to do it using STLINK V2 with STM32 ST-LINK Utility and bin called 7255em50firmware (1)? i cant connect anymore, i used to fix like you said above but no longer works.... using firmware flash with the stlink does not work.... hardware is intact, crystal clear all components are good, how can this be unbricked?? EM50S thanks!!!

I had the same problem. I contacted SIAECOSYS and they sent me the corresponding config.bin by email. Luck
 
Hi, I own a Votol EM100 can bus version. I'd like to connecting it to the computer, would it connect to the app using regular usb to canbus module/converter like canable? or it must be using the specific usb to canbus from Siaecosys (the transparent blue one)? Thank You
