Just bought a new e-bike and it comes with a KT36/48ZWSRM-KAP1F controller with a SW900 display.
pressing on + and - brings me to the P menu where I only have P01 to P09 and then it goes back to P01.
Each one of them is in a different order than the usual I see in any manual or tutorial.
For example -
P01 - wheel size
P05 - system voltage
P08 - odometer reset
P09 - is set to 0000 where I can enter a 4 digit value

Any idea on how I can bypass this lock? I can just pay the store to do it for me, but I really want to know myself. And besides, where is the fun?

What can I say, this is what I have
Then it has a very special firmware, normally the SW900 speaks the No2 protocol and some versions can be switched to the 5s or J-LCD protocol by P20.

With the Kunteng displays you have to press +/-buttons again, to proceed to the C-parameters.

Perhaps you should invest $12 in an original Kunteng LCD3 display ;)

Maybe this is the best solution

Does the bike work without throwing an error code? Do you see a speed on the SW900? Do you feel a difference in assist levels cycling thru the power levels? If so, then the sw900 has special firmware.

Yes, they all work properly.
This is in fact a local custom firmware.

Thanks for all the help
