Which bms do I use for Lipo pouch cells do I use a lithium ion one or lifepo4 I know the current and series etc just not sure which to order

What voltage is just one of the cells, nominal and fully charged?

You want to use a BMS that matches that, to be able to protect them from overcharge and overdischarge.

I'm also wondering if I could repurposed a 14S BMS FOR 3S2P Battery I'm building for a 12 V Light. BMSs seem kind of expensive when the balance charging feature is added in. I'm almost thinking to go without and use a imax B6 ($25 China clone) and a digital voltage readout
