Dead KT-LCD6 - how to fix?

Installed a KT-LCD6 on compatible kt-controller with 36V battery. Everything worked perfectly a couple of days. Then one morning the display did not start. Just dead. Never any error codes. No trauma. No visible water ingression.

Swapped it for another kt-display which worked immediately and ever since.

Any ideas on fixing to dead kt-controller? Not really worth sending back to China for "repair".

Check all the wires and connector pins first, as those are the usual failures.

Measure with an ohmmeter all the way from the tip of the connector pins to the solder pads on the board inside the LCD, you should get zero ohms on all of them.
