I guess I am really looking for an electric mountain scooter like the ones used in Europe for riding down mountains in the summer only electric.

I got 2 Free Riders from the Kickstarter. One only works in Novice mode but the other one is awesome. Kuberg is sending a technician to my house today to update the controller on both. This was suppose to happen in May but Texas was having some major flooding then and the visit was postponed...

I am not qualified to answer your rubber tire question. I only ride it. Higher handlebars would help, however if the seat were any higher I would not be able to get on. Sorry that I am not more help.

I am 5' 81/2" and weigh about 185. Standing? Depends on what you are doing or what you want to do. The seat is not comfortable at all.
