Best i've seen is to get UL approval on any batteries. They do testing and will weed out the junk. As for faulty chargers they should also get UL approval along with the BMS.
fridge is now 35 and still working :bigthumb:
But i could not resist the black friday $198 Frigidaire so i have a spare right here in the kitchen. It is only 7.5 cu. feet and does NOT use any fans  manual defrost so not much to go wrong. Very quiet without any fans
now using a bug screen on the 18-30 gal. beds. i cut up fronds from palm trees and make posts to keep the screen a foot above the bin. :bigthumb:
brought a bin into the kitchen on a cold night on my wheelbarrow. at 1am i found the bug that was eating the leaves. it was on there before i tried...
i put the heat lamp 3 feet above my kitchen table :bigthumb:
on a cold morning it gives instant heat, like being in the sun.
impressive as my kitchen/dining is unheated and about 63F. only 250w and the temp on the table goes to 80-86F :)
Just found out i can add 30 days for $1. :bigthumb: ATT prepaid plan. When the time is up, but you still have $$ remaining, call to extend for $1. (web site is $5).

Got some colder temps here in FL, down in the 50's
my feet got cold, so i went for a quick warm up an inch from the bulb, power turned up :bigthumb:
a few seconds and before i knew it, my socks were SMOKING
WTF? i did not feel any excessive heat! WTF?
nearly set my socks on fire 👿
Good Q :bigthumb:found this
"
The exact peak varies with filament temperature. The hotter it is, the shorter the peak wavelength. But in any case, the peak is always in the IR region"
since i'm using a dimmer, wavelength is longer and varies depending on power.
BUT, my #1 source is the early...
