Well I have had this bike for over 3 years and run a rwd 1500w leaf ebike kit on it 29" it was a walmart Genesis frame and now the thicker gauge spokes on the hub motor some have a small bend in them. This bike only has minimal front suspension and I do run my 18650 battery pack on a rear rack...
Modified my Leaf ebike 1500w controller but forgot my BMS in my 3 year old Ping 48v 20 ah battery is only rated for 40 Amps! Anyone know where I can get a higher power BMS 16s it looks like cells were like 3.34v so it's not a standard voltage nominal like a 18650 is. I pull 2000w uphill and off...
Ok well I have the leaf motor RWD 1500W kit but I also have a 1000W Magic Pie FWD bike. I currently do not have a battery for the Magic Pie bike and its been hanging for 2 years but not the Leaf E-Bike. Now I opened up both controllers and noticed the 1500W leaf controller has 13 Mosfets 3 63V...
Ok so these are claimed 3000 MAH 15 AH continuous and 30 AMP peak per cell. They are listed as IMR batteries which are Lithium Manganese Oxide (LMO). Now I have been testing these and they come out to around 2000 MAH per cell. I have used other clones about 2 years back (probably same...
Bought some clones from China Wana test them see how close they are to what they claim VTC6 3120 mah (yea right lol). Last VTC5 I got were actually pretty decent performing pulled 20 Amos out of 1 cell for a while never even got warm. LMO batteries.
Yea I replaced that. So here is something i dont get.... these Chinese cells! I max my welder out and they wouldn't stick but it's not the basic Chinese welder it's actually a good one they say. The 709A. The basic (forget model number) puts out 220A on the highest setting the 709A (mine)...
Am I getting safer? I got l thicker nickel strips. Added in battery spacers and top insulation.
Btw I had a very hard time getting the strips to stick to the battery with my welder. I had current maxed out with 4p 6p and 8p enabled the handle got very hot and it wouldn't stick well for me...
Well I have all stuff ordered that I need could only find 8x.15mm nickel strips. I disassembled the packs I had carefully came out with 41 18650s that I deemed acceptable shape others I tossed. All 41 cells tested 4.15-4.18v 90% were 4.16-4.17v.
