Page 40 looks like a voltage offset. Looked through the pdf and can't find anything similar to regen settings. Maybe It's only possible with the app or bigger screen?
Do you know if it's possible to program/adjust in regen for one thumb cycling on lcd4? I've contacted KT about the bluetooth dongle and they are reluctant to provide one unless I order a lot of units...
Do all KT controllers work with KT compatible screens? What's the benefit of having Bluetooth dongle? Can it be used as a replacement of the screen. I'm having difficulty finding an android app for it.
I will be running it with 9c hub motor(halls included). Nothing over 30A. Might even change...
I had my experience with bent cell:

It's good that you replaced it as soon as possible.
It was cut with handheld cnc router (Shaper Origin). If I would do it again, probably just send it off to a proper cnc shop. Vinyl cutter was used to cut paper outline with holes for spotwelding accurately.
Thanks, what's the max current output on the kWeld with a single new kCap. Mine tops out at 1100A. From datasheet this supercap is looking impressive. Better in all aspects.
What caps is the new version using? The current cap version on the website is Maxwell BCAP0310-P270-T10, Rated Voltage is 2.70 V, Absolute Maximum Voltage is 2.85 V. So 8.2v is just above the rated voltage of the caps...
Finally had some free time to spotweld the battery I have been planning to make for a while. This is 13S17P pack with LG INR18650-M29. Did extensive discharge tests on the cells and survived 800 cycles without issues. I used kWeld at 70 joules, 0.1mm copper and 0.1mm nickel strip.
I have been using murata rbq-8.2/45 step down converter and in talking to Frank. Step down converter have two problems.
1. Inrush current and 0V
2. Having to bypass hiccup protection
To combat these problems I start by limiting my current with lab bench psu for couple seconds and replacing...
