I am having a similar issue myself... my dad wants me to fix his voy scooter, but no controller i can find has the same wire configuration... different plugs, different number of wires, different color of wires, different pairings of wires... nothing seams to match... i tried rewiring another...

no there is no resistence, the motors are hooked end to end, and one is reversed, they also have ratcheting sprockets so there is no resistance if spun backwards that way your peddles dont spin like crazy when the.motors are active

and what kit(s) would you reccomend? ....preferably mid mount... at this point the kit i have is little more then a mount, bottom bracket, front gear, and throtle.... so im pretty sure i could simply replace the motor(s) and controller to prettymuch anything 48v..... i dont care if they are...
