wow, if there is any way to make a lower power rated slot in gearbox that is much quieter i would gladly buy the 3kw torque sensing set-up and the 'stealth' gearbox for use at lower power output. imho its a product like this that will make ebikes massive - quiet, well made, unobtrusive, torque...
have a look at bikee ebike motor or the eram (if it ever appears, manufacturer still seems to say it will at some point).

its the mid-drive used by Specialized, likely fairly easy to get a go at a dealer - not sure that they sell it as an aftermarket drive though?
