Hey bros, I got a couple of wiiceivers back when they first hit the scene on this forum. I, like many, had connection problems to the point of it being unsafe. I haven't been on the forum in a while, but last time I was on I saw that some people were trying to make a wiiceiver v2.0 with 2.4ghz...

Okay. Popping it off was easy enough.. now what? I'm guessing, take the heat shrink off the wiiceiver and pop the Atmel off the wiiceiver and put it on the Uno.. and upload the newest code? or….?

Is there a link for instructions for 'popping the atmega' off of the uno/updating the wiiceiver with an uno? I have an uno but it seems super sketchy to just pop off the mega.. it's soldered on ya? Will it damage the board/processor by doing so? need to re-solder to put it back on (assuming no...

Is it possible to get higher (significantly higher) pressure tubes in these tyres? It says 30 psi on the tyre? I think some people have had them up to 40-60 psi?

I have the FINAL PIECE of my setup coming from bruno early next week (the 7S BMS) then I'll have pretty much the same setup as yours.. dual 50mm 7S10AH ADS/APS with wiiceiever, only difference being onboard BMS. FINGERS CROSSED that I don't go for any superman flights.. might be contacting you...

some dudes were talking about adding some extra capacitors to the equation to deal with the spikes created by the long battery cables.. dunno how effective it is though, haven't played with it myself.

Very true, the tire you're suggesting is a nice blend of all of those + the range thing clearly isn't a huge deal if any at all

Pretty interesting stuff really all of the factors that effect the efficiency. I do see how a high pressure, flat, wide tire could be quite efficient actually so long as, as you say, the sidewalls don't bulge and it maintains it's flat surface.. so a nice high pressure tube. Just curious, what...

I have to say, it is a bit of a mind blow to me to imagine that a wider, 'flat' tire with more 'off-road' style tread would get better mileage than a narrower, 'rounded' tire with 'road' style tread.. not saying it isn't true; by the looks of the wiki physics it is indeed true. Like beetbocks...
