    Hyperion Charger set up

So I basically have several hundred 12V 2A Little Power bricks. So I Figured, and Tested that filling a power strip up with them, and wiring the output in parallel = a pretty mean, and cheap 12V or 24V (If the result is wired in series) power supply. I'm of the opinion the setup, although kinda...

    as far as searching goes,

This had been bothering me for a while, and after reading the last post I Felt I had to say something. I'm really really good at finding things on the internet, I've been known for it since I Had one of the first cell phones with a hand cuffed version of the internet on it. But I've asked...

    probably a dumb question, but

Ok, so you got a bunch of batteries in series, not sure if that answer would change with chemistry, but do you have to disconnect to properly charge the batteries? Like if i have 12S Set up, and my charger only does 8S, can I Just connect the the first 8, charge, then connect to the last 4 and...

    Brushed Motor, sans controller

In a setup with a Brushed motor, no controller, what limits the amps? Is it just the motor takes what it's spec'd for (for ex 24 volt system 250 watt motor, its using a little bit north of 10 amps) or does it take as much as the battery will give it? what about when its over volted? Gracias

    Couple Questions Google can't answer

With wire gauge, everything I find talks in terms of feet, if I'm only dealing with inches do Have more leeway? I'm dealing with a 80-100 volt battery, upwards of 80 amps. Do I really need 4 gauge wire? Also is there any downside to going up in voltage, if you keep the same amps? Has anyone...

    Series /Parallel Switch, High Voltage

So since there pretty much aren't any 16S LiPoly charges out there, and I'm stuck @ 12S with the Hyperion I was going to put a Series/ Parrelell switch set up on a battery pack to turn a 16S Battery into 8S For charging. Simplest thing I Could come up with is using 2 3 Position switches, as long...

I've worked with a kind of wire that was really easy to deal with, flexible and "soft" for lack of a better word, and then I bought some at frys that sucked balls (damn near needed pliers to bend it) problem is I don't know shit about how wire is officially labeled or referred to except gauge...

    Tips / Suggestions/ Advice

So I recently started helping out a guy who likes to tinker with Ebikes, with his batteries. I was an electronics tech in the navy, went through Nuke EM A School, which is roughly an AA Degree in Elec. Engineering, but that was a decade and a lot of beer ago. Anyways I've done a couple repairs...
