    Sanity check please: 3x AquaStar T20

    Those motors are 730 KV, I have no idea how you plan on lowering those RPMs to a usable value. my guess is you can't so the whole power potential of them doesn't actually exist. 3 sk3 motors wouldn't please you? :)

    I dont believe this case is an exception. It isnt even worth going this route of discussion. One thing when someone says something completely wrong and its other when we start talking about fundamental building blocks of forces which in this case dont matter at all for end result.

    Oh god and i have to call BS on your science because friction has absolutely nothing to do with surface area. You got the coefficient of friction right, other factor is force exerted by each surface on the other.

    I could have swore i read someone wrote his motor is hot at 1000w. Anyway, if it is true the motor can take 10kw peak and 4kw cont. i would be happy with that and i would strongly consider buying that motor.

    Help with Turnigy RC motor

    Personally think at the end of it all it would be cheaper to rewind or buy a lower kv motor. This way youre going to have a very complicated transmission. My guess is jackshafts, multiple stage planetary gear sets or cycloidal gears. Not saying it is impossible but it doesnt make much sense.
