    bidirectional charger

Thanks for your reply :) I didn´t include any more requirements, as it´s already difficult enough to find something "of the shelf" :D But if I could choose, it should be atleast 2000VA (W) and >10A. Initially I also looking into bidirectional power supplies aswell but the issue with these is...

    bidirectional charger

Hey all, I want to get the most versatile usage out of my battery packs and have all these functions in one integrated device. I mean how cool would it be if you could: 1. charge all your battery devices (for me, 0-150V dc, so basically: 230V AC -> variable DC) 2. Use your batteries to...

thank you, I will give that a try! <3

    NEW QS 165 MOTOR

Could you send me your motor config file for the V1? Iam having issues with bad commutation at high duty cycle and high phase amps. It oscillates quite a lot. I tried it only with a 16S battery so far..20S should probably work a bit better?!

    NEW QS 165 MOTOR

@mxlemming nice..sounds like it will be alot easier to tune! What did you pay for this motor now? I remember paying ~350€ for the V1. And what type of encoder(or hall) is it?

    EU | QS205 v3i | 17" spoke wheel

Hey all, due to stop working on one (of way too many) project, Iam selling my lightly used qs205 v3i e-scooter motor, which has seen ~3500km of street use and is ~2-5 years old. I used it in a modded SuperSoco TC - QS205 V3i - 11.3 Kv - 6mm² phase cables - dual Hall sensor - dual Temp sensor -...

    NEW QS 165 MOTOR

Has somebody his QS165 set up and running nicely? I finally had the time to install the QS165 into my SurRon and pair it with a vesc-based EBMX X9000. This controller unfortunately uses custom firmware, so the official vesctool is not supported. Thus, tuning the motor is quite a pain. I used the...

Open source BMS for 48V to 400V lithium-ion battery pack

How could that reliably work, if you charge the batterie outside of the vehicle and plug it back in after fully charging it?

Open source BMS for 48V to 400V lithium-ion battery pack

So your SOC estimates is purely based on cell voltage readout and no coulomb counting? :?:

@ENNOID What SOC calculation differences could you observe between your master-slave BMS and charge-only BMS solution?

    NEW QS 165 MOTOR

I opened my QS165 encoder today..keep in mind that I have serial number #3000001 😆 What I found to the chip is that it´s an ABI encoder, probably this one: http://www.jsuitech.cn/pd.jsp?id=22#_jcp=3_6 Googling only the first part of the chips number "6816 216" gave me this datasheet...

    NEW QS 165 MOTOR

Thanks for the Feedback! I have two VESC 75 300s but think that they are just not powerful enough for a SurRon. The VESC100 500 would be perfect for that..or the Tronic 750 :D

    NEW QS 165 MOTOR

Can somebody share his knowledge on how to connect a QS165 encoder to a non-fardriver controller? Iam currently struggling with their pinout definition :D The newest firmware for ASI BAC controllers supports encoder and I have to connect: - Encoder Sine V source (Sine voltage output from...

Tccharger or other voltage adjustable chargers

Thank you guys for the input. If you check their website, one model matches my criteria quite well. This is a CAN enabled OBC (on board charger), so usually a BMS talks to the charger and demands a certain voltage/current. So in order to use it as a standalone charger, I´d have to develop an...

Tccharger or other voltage adjustable chargers

Did somebody ordered a charger from the official tccharger website? http://www.tccharger.com/EN/product/13264/list.html I want an adjustable charger with voltage ranging from atleast 50..120V DC (optionally lower/higher). And I want the newest version (gen. 4) and not a charger model from...

    NEW QS 165 MOTOR

Hey, very nice! Iam currently trying to understand your calculation on hall sensor angle. Why did you choose 120° in the first place? And why add exactly 360°? Maybe you can point me in the right direction so I can look it up :)

Designing the ultimate (400A+) motor controller - what features should it have?

    - precharge - integrated buck converter for peripherals - turn signal control - SOC estimator through coloumb counting Just some ideas :D

    NEW QS 165 MOTOR

I recently posted about this in a Sur Ron Facebook group. Basically, the motor will be pretty cheap, like 300$ excl tax/shipping. The only but biggest issue is that it will only come as encoder version (no longer hall based sensors), meaning that you´d need an inverter that support encoder...

[EU, Germany] [740€] Super Soco 2,5 kWh battery

Selling an original Super Soco battery from a sharing-CUX e scooter. It´s about a year old and has 3000 km on it. The BMS works with all SuperSoco models (TC,TS, CUX).

    Speed record with scooter requirements?

So I was at EICMA last friday and they had a prototype of an ESC championship scooter there. The facts were astoundingly...boring :D If I recall it correctly, it was 200A*2 @96V ?! Propably limited due to championship rules. The scooter was massive, like 30cm wide..and only housed a 1kWh...

    Speed record with scooter requirements?

Depends. You can play around with the Kv-rating of the motor. And motor with higher KV are more common than these with lower ones. My idea was to use a very high Kv motor and use a big inverter to supply enough current to reach these speeds.

    Speed record with scooter requirements?

I´d say go for a belt or chain driven rear wheel setup. I personally don´t like that due to noise/inefficiency but in your case this sounds optimal, because you can change the gearing to fulfill your needs. A single motor would be sufficient ih he doesn´t want to set the acceleration record...
