Ok picture update.... As you can see my bike is now in pieces again  This image best demonstrates why my bike is in pieces. It still runs but there is a notable bump every time the wheel rotates. The rest can explain themselves If people have been keeping...

    Fush's EBike Project #001

Yeah just one major one.....ITS BROKEN  Had a fight with a pot hole and it won....I now have a nice big flat section in my rear rim just where the valve sits... So hopefully ebike.ca will process my order soon...I have a feeling that Brett probably won't have rims and spokes in stock...

    The Spotted Thread!

i saw a hub driven bike about 2 weeks ago in leichhardt and a petrol 2 stroke in darling harbour last week when it was raining cats and dogs. Raced him cross the anzac bridge and beat him by a fair way, only problem was my back tire lost grip over one of the stupid speed bumps they have on the...

    Ebike.CA

I have to say out of all the places i've contacted regarding ebike accessories etc Ebike.ca are the best. They may not be the cheapest but they managed to do everything i have wanted and needed, and they make the cycle analyst :D

    BL @ 72 Volts Or 5 series . ???

honestly i would just stick with a single version. If you don't have many hills there is definaly no point in going the duel. I have to recommend the 408 its a good combo between speed and torque. While the 406 has a higher top speed Its much harder to get to that speed because it lacks the...

    BL @ 72 Volts Or 5 series . ???

Yeah X5 is a waste if you don't have big hills...and even if you did it would be better to go with the puma. ( I learnt that the hard way) Puma or 4series it my recommendation...though word of warning..apparently the pumas have a habit of blowing crystalyte controllers at high voltage. but that...

    48v 25ah LiFePo4 !!! Finally !

I did say "sorry"! :P No idea how they did fail but i would be a little cautious if I was you. My batteries seem to be alright apart from the fact that the battery monitor has blow 2 LED's already..only thing its good for is telling when the BMS has tripped. But my batts are defiantly...

How much rolling resistance is normal on X5 hub ?

Hey Curious I thought i would just join the bandwagon and let you know that defiantly doesn't sound right. My X5304 doesn't spin all that well compared to a freewheel but i get at least about 6+ wheel rotations when i give the wheel a spin before the magnet forces stop it. I originally had a...

    BL @ 72 Volts Or 5 series . ???

I have to agree with BigH 408 is a great little motor especially at 72v. The 5303 is nice aswell but the weight of the bastard is a hindrance. And they tend to suck more power then a 408. but that said i love my 5304 even if it does make the back end weigh a ton.

Ypedal Sorry to put a bit of a blow to your new batteries but this was a picture i got from Andy when he was trying to stall me when i complained about the late delivery of my batteries. They defiantly look like the same type of batteries

    Gav's EV Conversion

its the building a car from scratch which is the issue, because they have to meet the same design and safety certifications as normal petrol driven cars..Thats why the little Riva wasn't allowed because it would fail the safety tests by killing or seriously injuring the occupants in a small...
