What could I do with these 2 scoots?

Are your treadmill motors brushless? If your treadmill motor is a brushed-type DC motor, then you won't be able to use the Ecoped controller.

    Ninebot battery for my Ebike?

Just to be clear, you have a Segway ES4 scooter external battery, correct? Segway and ninebot are the brand, they make a lot of different products. I'm not too familiar with the ninebot ES4 external battery, but I have played with a couple of ES2/ES4 internal batteries. I tried to run a 36v hub...

    Kick Scooter to Mini-bike Conversion

This is a somewhat different build. I decided my kid should have a new toy for upcoming summer days of social distancing. I had an old kick scooter laying around and I thought I'd breathe some new life into it, while providing some entertainment for myself and my son. This project started out...

    Razor A5 LUX E-Scooter 60v (30mph)

No, the purpose of my build was to commute to work where we use Makita tools. There I can charge up my batteries using the readily available Makita chargers. So having removable batteries was key for my charger. Got any videos of your scooter running?

    Razor A5 LUX E-Scooter 60v (30mph)

Yeah thought about it, but went a different direction. I bought a few of the Makita battery USB phone charger things and modified them to use as battery clips. The injection molded plastic is way more vibration resistant than a 3d printed part. To facilitate charging multiple packs I bought a...

    Razor A5 LUX E-Scooter 60v (30mph)

Mine has held up great! I probably put on 300 miles on it. Only issues I had were related to the 3d printed battery clip I made. The solid A5 lux chassis is pretty harsh on the attached clip, and it caused cracks on a few occasions. Nothing I couldn't fix but the vibrations and rattling caused...

    Razor A5 LUX E-Scooter 60v (30mph)

Nice scooter! 30mph is crazy for the little urethane tires but I like it! Here's my A5 conversion using two 18v Makita batteries in series: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=75484 You *could* use a "48v" charger if you're careful. Meaning both packs need to in good health...

    new razor scooter

On my wife's EcoSmart scooter, I replaced the throttle with an ebay unit that had a voltage meter along with a keyswitch. It was fairly easy. The stock Ecosmart throttle has six wires. Three are for the throttle hall sensor, two (+ and -) for battery voltage when the scooter is on, and the last...

    Trek Retrofit

Very familiar looking bike you got there. This is mine with a rear Yescom kit and a EM3EV triangle bag that houses (2) 6S 16AH lipos and the controller. It's been solid so far with just over 100 miles on it.

    Razor A5: Electric Conversion

Just a quick update. The scooter is still going strong. I ride it daily to work about 12 miles round trip unless its raining. And I try to take it to the grocery store and pickup takeout food. So far I probably have over 350 miles on it. I had two hiccups. My electrical connectors are all...

    My kick scooter project

I wonder if a larger plenum that surrounds the entire motor end wouldn't allow for better airflow rather than individual copper air ducts

I might have missed it, but do you have a link to the motor you're running now?

250w hub motor scooter mod log

Hey got a question for you. When you wired up your throttle to both controllers, did you take the positive and ground from one controller to the throttle, and then have the signal wire split to both controllers?

    Razor A5: Electric Conversion

So I've put about 50 miles on the scooter thus far and no more problems. I modded the shunt on the controller and am now at about 17 peak amps, compared to 13A stock. The scooter is fast enough as is, and I just wanted a little more oomph up the hills. I've also noticed that regen braking is...

Converting my Oxelo Town 9 EasyFold Scooter

Well I was debating back and forth between hub motor and outrunner with a gear. I picked up my Razor for a good price and the rear is built very narrow such that a gear and belt would be difficult to attach without cutting up the rear. I was following your thread and shortcircuit911's thread...

Converting my Oxelo Town 9 EasyFold Scooter

Sucks that you're having issues. But it sounds like the motor/vesc is going to give you plenty of power once the drive train is beefed up. Once you're back up and running, if you're anywhere around downtown San Francisco, I'd love to check out your scooter sometime. I just got my Razor...

    Razor A5: Electric Conversion

Success! I repaired the broken battery clip with some ABS Glue and my 3d printing pen. It's pretty ugly, but it held up perfectly during this morning's ride in. Repaired: I gooped on a bit more plastic elsewhere on the clip to make the fit to the battery a little tighter and reinforced...

250w hub motor scooter mod log

Ouch that sucks man. If you're feeling brave, you can try to SLOW charge the bad cells to bring them back up to voltage. Here's an article about it: http://www.electricrcaircraftguy.com/2014/10/restoring-over-discharged-LiPos.html But IMHO, it's not worth the risk of setting your house on fire.
