52v Battery No Name Chinese Vs Luna Cycles

Here is the stock luna cycle battery. I blew my battery. https://lunacycle.com/luna-wolf-v2-52v-battery-pack/ There is also this other battery they have. It costs more. Don't know what is so much better about it. https://lunacycle.com/52v-luna-direwolf-ebike-battery/ My question is...

Charging an Electric Battery with Gas (a car does this)

I hate one liners, but an important thing to consider is legally this is still an ebike, not a gas bike. If the gas only regenerates the battery it's not a gas bike and you won't have the police contact that you might get from a gas bike.

Charging an Electric Battery with Gas (a car does this)

This is different. the e-power system just charges the battery. it's not a normal hybrid. i have an ebike.

Charging an Electric Battery with Gas (a car does this)

I was googling around and found this : https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/nissan-e-power-combines-gas-and-electric-but-not-like-a-typical-hybrid/ I wonder if I could find a 52v configuration like this, that would allow me to essentially not have to worry about range but not have a gas motor...

Build your own Battery Kit to start a beginner?

Everyone has to start somewhere. My goal is to become good at this, but right now I'm a pure beginner. Is there a step by step dummy kit that would give me all the tools I need and then in black and white walk me through the steps? "Take this, connect it to that, take this spot welder, put...

Strategies to increase range while on road (you can't use a gas station)

I'm running a 52v stock on the folding luna cycle. My battery is being worked on but it's not dead for sure. I was going to start another thread about that - what is the best equivalent battery for range, for cost and for a compromise between the two (the options). It's a modded bbs02 motor...

Strategies to increase range while on road (you can't use a gas station)

One dowside of an ebike is that you can't just go to a gas station and keep filling it. What's the cheapest way to pay for power on long trips?

1000w throttled ebike that also pedals and looks stealthy?

Someone on another forum suggested luna cycles. This seems perfect, but it's "downprogrammed" to 750 watts.  How do you undo that? https://lunacycle.com/luna-folding-ebike/

1000w throttled ebike that also pedals and looks stealthy?

That's what I really want. An ebike that has some power and range, but if you looked at it, you would think it was less powerful than it actually is. Something that could somewhat pass as a regular bike. And I want to just be able to throttle it here and there on a tough hill and then...

PHATMOTO™ Rover - 79cc (Can it be made to go faster)

So apparently, this bike is made to have a pretty good pedal experience when you're not using the motor. How hard would it be to upgrade the top speed without totally messing up the pedal experience...

    Rear Hub Research

Hey, would a rear hub work on a folding bike like this one : https://www.ebay.com/itm/21-Speed-Folding-24-26-Mountain-Road-Bicycle-Riding-Sport-MTB-Bike-Disc-Brakes/114593763027?hash=item1aae520ed3%3Ag%3AQX0AAOSwd0Nf922A&fbclid=IwAR061K7ZCHG8Kk-aZGKPYflA_nMnUWsXsCa6yrLdBkeym76RWD4o9Js2J4Q If...

looking at japanese 1980s bike so I can mod my other bike

So I hear japanese 1980's bikes are good bang for the buck for the pedal experience. I'm checking them out on ebay. Then I'll probably mod my low riding Raleigh mountain bike with road tires to be direct drive. I'll probably do this after waiting about a week for financial reasons. So which...

    Rear Hub Research

See it will be mainly road, BUT, a more low riding bike than a typical road bike. I like to basically convert a mountain bike into road shape, but like the low riding but not the mountain tires. To get the boost without screwing up the pedaling experience, that's what I want. I probably don't...

    Rear Hub Research

The thing is there is my "can I get something fast budget" and then there's my "be patient, put some money away, use my credit card budget." And I think the 2nd would probably be about 1k. For a really good reason, maybe i can treat it as 2k. Yeah if you could get the mid drive or the geared...

    Rear Hub Research

You know what, I think I should save up and get an entirely new bike once I'm financially ready. My bike is working pretty well without the motor and I don't want to ruin it. No law says I can't have two bikes.

    Rear Hub Research

So more info - I don't need a speedometer or anything flashy. I just need the rear wheel to move as I control it with my hands somehow to change the speed and I'm willing to pay more for a good battery. And my opinion is rear hub is the way to go. I do want it to be hand controlled, not...

    Rear Hub Research

I hear people that the budget is too low, but then recommend some brands to me where the price is actually justified by the performance of the battery. Because if I'm going to invest more, I want it to be worth it. I'd rather mod this bike because it rides pretty well without the motor. I...

    Rear Hub Research

Bike Forums referred me to this forum and there I received answers suggesting that my raleigh mountain bike with road tires and an elevated seat would convert well to an e-bike. From that, I opinion, based on the fact that I want speed and don't mind a more bumpy ride that a rear hub is the way...
