Picked up this 48V 7 LED headlight on Amazon for only $7.46 delivered! I spliced into my battery connector and wired in a switch (actually a household light switch) that I concealed in a small frame top bag. Works great - could be a little brighter but will use in conjunction with my battery operated light - maybe one aimed straight and the other at the ground...

Unfortunately sold out...

Is it bright enough? I had a similar one at one time, but it was not bright enough to ride 20 mph in the dark. Worked fine for 10 mph, but at 20 I couldn't see far enough ahead to have time to jog around a broken bottle or pothole.

Two mabye? I did that a lot with battery led lights. I'd aim one high and one low.

I doubut it pulls enough wattage to care about, likely run it for an hour on less than 50 wh, possibly less than 10 wh.
