Hey guys,
I just got an Bionx E Trail (G2 with CAN bus) with a dead 48V battery... Opened it and saw some injured cells. The whole block was discharged to nearly 0V..
Now i wanted to change the cells but before doing that i wanted to know if it would work at all. I decided to take 13 fully charged cells, connected them in series with all balancer wires correctly assembled. I plugged in the balancer connector and then the 30A fuse. There was a short beep. I touched the charging port and the led lighted up green. Connected to the charger the led stays red and nothing more happens. If i plug the battery into the bike i can start the display / computer but the motor does nothing (no pushing and no recu charging)
I read some posts about locked bms after a deep cycle..
Did anyone of you ever get a locked bms working again?
