AURORA, ON, Canada – Canadian e-bike electric propulsion system manufacturer BionX International launches new display and controller for both OEM and Aftermarket along with peripheral devices and new app for 2017

The RC3 controller and DS3 display are now available globally for both OEM and Aftermarket e-bike systems from BionX.

Bluetooth has become part of the e-bike industry and connectivity is key to getting the most out of your ride. BionX introduced Bluetooth in some of its OEM e-bike products last year, but for aftermarket there was no peripheral device connectivity until now. The new BionX Bluetooth module will offer all BionX riders the ability to connect their cell phone devices while on their e-bike. Available for Android and iOS, the new Bluetooth device provides connectivity by plugging it into the new RC3 controller on the handle bar and pairing it with your smart phone.

BionX has also opted to launch a new high quality portable USB charger with 4000 mAh capacity. This device allows you to take your charge anywhere you want. In your backpack, in your home or wherever you need to charge up your devices, the new USB charger has a tap motion sensitive LED battery level indicator, and two power outputs (2A tablet or 1A mobile).

For 2017, BionX has also decided to offer a stylish universal 2000 lumen front and rear lighting system that runs off all BionX e-bike powertrain systems equipped with a DC jack. No need for a separate battery and it turns off and on via the BionX controller. If your e-bike system has a DC output on the battery docking station, this new lighting system will surely please the avid BionX fan.

Rounding out the offering for 2017 is an OEM and Aftermarket BionX app with some very cool features. Map your ride, turn by turn navigation, check your speed and battery levels and monitor your assist and regeneration settings. These are just a few neat features of the app.
