HELP, I was riding my KHS TC 150 yesterday. The rear motor is a BMC striker 600 watt. The power to the rear wheel stopped. the motor is still running but no power to the rear wheel. I suspect a broken pin of some sort. Any Ideas?
PLEASE HELP ME I USE THIS BIKE EVERYDAY AND WILL BE LOST WITHOUT IT.

Thank you,

Mike

Sounds like the clutch( internal freewheel) died.

I just took the motor apart it just may be worn plastic gears. 11 months old 425 miles and already broken, I can believe it, Anyone know where to get a replacemet motor, or a whole replacement motor and rim?

If that's from hi-power cycles.. that motor will break again.

They push way too many amps through those motors; the stock gears cannot handle that power. They also don't mention that heavy off road = damage to a geared hub motor.

cell_man here on the forums should be selling 'gray gears' soon for the MAC motors, which are almost identical to the BMC motors, so the gears may very well work in your BMC and handle the kind of power that your controller is putting into this motor.
