Embarrassed myself in front of cop today (bike related)

I was walking today downtown and I saw this bicycle but it wasn't locked up and the helmet was just dangling from the handlebar. I told my mom, "nice bike but look, it's not even locked up and the helmet is just dangling there. " Then I said, "maybe someone just ran inside for a few minutes". I was saying this pretty loud because I talk loud. Then I look over and it's a police officers !! Oh crap. Maybe he thought I was going to steal it. I never even got very close to the bike but that was a kind of awkward situation. I didn't realize that my city had police officers on bikes.

Heh Heh, next time you are in an airport, don't forget to talk about explosives in a loud voice.

Pretty funny in my town, how often cops get thier guns stolen from thier unlocked cars.
