eMoto battery?? Need help..

Hello everyone,

I bought a cheap emoto 1.5 ebike on Craigslist but it needs a new battery. I understand it uses 26 volts. Would I be able to use a 36 volt battery with the bike? Will the controller be able to handle 36 volts? Or should I use a 24 volt battery?

are those not so low Volts? You shouldn't use more Volts if You don't find controller specs. It would be possible anyway. Could You post any photos?

Firtst off 26v battery is not a common size voltage pack. it is either 24v,36v or 48v battery
I would switch out the controller to a 48v 17a controller then get a 48v battery. That thing will rip. I know i did a similar mod to a 24v geared motor. Since it was geared for 24v it will give you a way better top speed on 48v.
There are many chinese vendors in Aliexpress that sell 48v batteries that will drop right in to that bike.
