Praying for fast recovery,
in any kind of accident, regular health insurance might assume that an automotive coverage should kick in first.
Head injuries can take some time to display symptoms and which possibly do not show right away.
You can ask for a determination of coverage before a procedure or a doctor visit to get clarity on converge.
 
Have patience, and plan on using every ounce of it you can muster the first few WEEKS (not days!). 3 months outa just about do it........ Just recovered from an ugly fall last summer involving a couple cracked ribs after landing flat on my back.....

I couldn't even sleep in my bed the first couple of weeks. They were spent in an easy chair/recliner.
