Flying Pigeon

I am 90% finished with my electric Flying Pigeon Build.

Components:

1. Q128 Motor from BMS Battery with KU128 Controller. 48V 500 Watt. Front Drive.
2. Thumb throttle
3. 48V 20AH Li-ion Battery from BMSBattery.com ($400 on sale now!)
4. Schwalbe Delta Creme tires
5. custom cut wooden box mounted on rear pannier to use as battery box (to keep the classic look)

Questions:

Any easy, ready to go solutions for pre-charge resister to prevent sparks? I am using Deans Connectors, and I'm starting to see corrosion because of the sparks.

Also...how the heck do you wire the battery meter on the thumb throttle to show battery level?!

Pictures coming tonight.
