What do you guys think about this motor? 45mm magnets, 205 or 212 rotor diameter (not sure which). Maybe it will be rated around 2000 watt?
In the motor simulator, it might be comparable to the XOFO DD45. I have the QS 205 on my fat bike, not expecting the same amount of torque, but hey if its pretty close, I'd really love to have that 10 tooth cassette gear so I can pedal at 30MPH. I currently have a 5 speed freewheel with a modified spacer on it, there is barely enough axle left to put a torque arm on that side.
Setting custom motor parameters doesn't seem to include magnet width or rotor diameter.
Is anyone else making a large direct drive motor like this that can fit on fat bikes and use a cassette or a 5-6-7 speed freewheel? If yes can you list the vendor?
