GuyH, these mountainboard trucks with skate-style geometry have a turning angle of @38deg.

If you gonna mount it to a longboard deck with lets say 31" wb, the the truck's low steering angle, wide hangers and lack of deep lean of the RKP style truck will make it sluggish in turning.

You can use wedges to change your steering angle.

Beetbocks (alien) have made one using MBS skate style mtbord trucks.

Atom Longboards by MBS comes to mind. They have been doing that very thing for years.

Which trucks are you talking about? On their longboard setup they use specific trucks and have never seen their pneumatics on their longboard trucks.

Actually, just remembered.. You can try SurfRodz Hex TKP trucks. They have 177mm truck hangers and extended axle bases.

I have Hex TKP adapters for my bolt on but haven't gotten any pulley wheels for MBS wheels yet. http://www.surf-rodz.com/kits/tkphex/indeesz-10mm-kit.html

its no longer on atom's website,
probably from lack of sales,
you cant really kick these longboards,
you kicking foot will hit the wheels
they are mounted to a deck with kicks like a mtboard.

air tire and urethane versions,
