Im fairly new to e-bikes and wanted some help converting my Dillinger Easy Stepover to 48v. From what I have read I am best to update the controller to 48v and think motor should be okay ? I can buy a 48v battery with 15a output that fits the frame so that bit is easy. The controller is stuffed in the frame above the battery and has the case removed to fit so I cannot tell the brand so need advice on which controller to buy. Hoping to get something plug and play that works with the Bafang (Badged Dillinger) C965 display if possible. The specs of the bike are below along with some pics of the controller partially removed.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Daniel

If you go to the bafang website you can view their controllers and pick out one that suits you... Then I'd head over to aliexpress and buy one there. I think (but I'm really not sure) that most bafang controllers are compatible with most bafang displays. As I said I'm not sure on this cause I don't use bafang stuff much. Pay attn to the connectors you've got, and save yourself a whole lotta soldering Their controllers seem to get hot easily if you run them hard... Which is crap for where I live (hills). Get the most powerful you can.
If all that fails, you can try the KT kits which are great for what you pay for....and they make up-to 5kw controllers so no probs with powering up your ordinary ebike. 8) but they're not compatible with bafang.
