How to mount a bottle-mount battery.

Anyone had experience with mounting one of these?

The mounts are very high up, they don't line-up with the exisiting mounts
and it's expected new mounts have to be fabricated in the alum frame.
My other Dolphin battery had mounts that lined-up just fine.

I've emailed the seller, BMS Battery for advice but it's been a couple of days with no reply.

What's the best way to fabricate new mounts? Thick plate welded to frame with threads to suit?

My bottle pack battery didn't line up as well. But i slid the whole unit up the frame and used the lower hole on the battery and the upper hole on the bottle mount. Then i used metal hose clamps with some rubber under it to clamp the top part of the bottle battery on. It works so far.

There's an adapter plate sold that bolts to your existing mounts and has more slots or holes to mount the base further up.
