I want to update my drive setup to rc?

After years of riding my bikes as ice, I updated to an 800 watt brushed motor, tnc controller, 24-48 volts sla battery setup. For the last year or so, it has never failed me, yet the weight of the 48 volts sla are cumbersome, to where I actually ride it at 24 volts, 18-20 miles per hr.

first question,
should I just buy lipos and be done with it?
should I buy matts setup and lipos and be done with it?
I would like to keep the drive train simple and use the single reduction belt drive setup that I have on it now. 40 miles per hour is fine, but 60mph would be better. :wink:

whats the simplist setup / cost / weight / way to go?

I would suggest first updating to LiPo batteries and getting all the bugs worked out there before updating the controller/drivetrain.

You get extra points if the added power allows you to to make your current drivetrain let out the magic smoke. :lol:
