My old 12 fet infineon controller has been acting up when the CA is connected. Who sells these nowadays? It needs the CA direct plug connector.
I'm only running 20 amps, don't want a big expensive controller.

I don't know anywhere that still makes the old "infineon" controllers (someone might still have one used, I suppose).

Your existing system may be easily fixable, however.

Does the controller work normally when the CA is not connected?

What specifically happens when the system "acts up"?

Is it a CA v2 or v3? (the wiring inside the controller is different for each, and throttle signal is different from each).

I had an idea yesterday to go through the advanced settings and made some changes. Now it's working fine. I think it was a throttle signal voltage. It was v2 CA, pretty old.

Unless you have done special wiring / setup, AFAICR the v2 doesn't output a throttle signal directly, but instead just grounds the throttle signal wire inside the controller, disabling the throttle input signal from your throttle source, whenever a limit is exceeded.

The v3 does create a throttle signal, based on your inputs and settings, to feed to the controller in place of the actual throttle source.
