Li-poly noob questions.

The easy way is to just use 4 of the bottom 2 packs balance leads. If your bms only has 12 balance wire places, Just use the bottom 4 of each pack. It really depends on how the BMS is designed. It could be designed to work as a 12s bms with only 11 balance wire connections and still function as a 12s bms. In this case it would use the end cells main positive and negative connections as the 2 other balance wires needed.
 
Yep, that's it. But this is already done when you plug the first pack into the second using the main power connectors. So it's almost redundant. I recorded a very small difference in voltage without connecting the actual balance wires together, but it was like .001V iirc. Not enough to worry about imo.
