It is time to build a battery pack. After reading on the topic for the last two weeks, I think I have a handle on the basics of pack building. It will be used in series with a pack I already have,(14s8p 25r's), to run the bike around 78 volts. The new pack will be built from Samsung 25r's in a 7s8p configuration. All other supplies are on order, (nickel strips, wire, heat shrink, connectors etc.) Still looking for a BMS and a charger. For the BMS, I found this:

Contacted them for a price quote.
Will this BMS work for this application? Is there a stateside source for a good BMS like this at an affordable price?

Still trying to source a 7s charger.

Looks like Paul has a charger that might work:

why would you order a 24S capable BMS for 7S if you intend to build a 21S pack? why not just use the D131 as 21S? then include all the cells in series under the BMS. order the 24S and it will work at 21S. order 2. charge to 88.2V DC.

The packs will be used independantly at times. The 14s pack has it's BMS already.
