In an effort to expose any potential problem, the top of a small channel on the casing has been removed. This is a 54V battery pack that came with an Aventon Level. Lavender 18650 cells, in a plastic retaining cage, sheet metal connections. Small gauge wires are for charging. Have yet to locate a schematic, anyone have some basic structure fabrication information?
Symptom, worked fine the first few week, then any hard draw would see the voltage drop rapidly (2-3sec) from 50+ to zero. When I though it still functioned, took it out on a hot day when it indicated proper voltage leaving, yet when it was needed no power. Place it in the AC, continues to read over 50V.
Case seals the battery cage in from each end w/ silicon. May be practical to remove the silicon and slide it through the 'power' end.
Any tips would be well appreciated.
