I've had mine for about 7 months. It's a pretty solid scooter for the most part. The issue of steering is really more a question of whether you are going for tight turns at speed; or are just cruising. The widewheel turns differently from most scooters where you usually just flick left or right by push-pull. You have to (depending on the degree and speed of turn) use your body to initiate and to balance/counterbalance. Honestly you will understand all you need to about how to sterr the WW within the first couple minutes.
I would definitely recommend the dual motor variant. You can still drop it into single motor mode should you wish. However like most, you will find the dual motor w/speedlimiter off is the only way to go.
Final comment:
Insofar as repairs; you will find procuring parts (oem) hit or miss. I am in the US and it's been hell getting a rear wheel and motor replacement. Not to mention expensive . For the most part you can get all the parts via AliExpress but even there it's $$'ish and shipping can take a couple weeks.
Only mention this because it's what I have been dealing with for 2 weeks. The WW is a solid and we'll engineered product. All it's sustems are pretty robust. The weakest link I would say is the motor controller . It's still far and away better then the es4 but ninebot Segway, or the m365. But if you do replace that, it will run about 140 (dual controller variant).
Oh. The headlight is by far the most underwhelming feature, but is easily remedied.
Make sure you don't accidentally buy a cloned WW. They look identical but that is the only similarity.
