MOVIE NITE

Theres a new movie being promoted by Universal, looks cool. Accountant style mobster fighter guy trying to stay low key after saving a woman from being mugged. Better call Saul actor.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7888964/

Movie theaters will still be closed for another 6 months easy, so straight to pay per view.

Ah yes, the out of control youth. Perhaps you'd like Peter Falk in 'The Bloody Brood.'

Or a large cast of soon to be knowns in the obscure but interesting 'The Incident.'

Lots of television shows have featured actors wearing covid masks, are there any major movies out with actors wearing covid masks?

Nobody who knows anything has forgotten 'The Last American Hero.' 'The Junkman,' sure, though the original 'Gone in 60 Seconds' is still the greatest. Meanwhile, you'd think they'd have made the car scenes of a 'Dukes of Hazzard' movie good enough to at least be a major forgotten film, eh?

Dukes of Hazzard is racist and cancelled which is why WalMart and Google no longer selling Confederate flags.
2020 - "The Dukes of Hazzard has been flagged for internal review at Amazon. The hit 1980s sitcom could end up getting the boot for problematic imagery."

But I have to agree, Gone in 60 Seconds was a fantastic movie, both movies were good.

So car chases had been a long shot of a car driving past the camera, cut to the driver's up on the wheel, cut to the other car driving past the camera, cut to Bogie or whomever.

Then came Steve McQueen and 'Bullitt.

Oh, but 'Gone in 60 Seconds, wrecking 93 cars and a trash truck in 45 minutes. I've yet to see anything to match that.

Sunset Limo
A cross between Three’s Company, The Partridge Family and Charlie’s Angels; minus Shirley Jones and the rest of the band, Chrissy, Janet, the Angels, Charlie, Bosley, Mr. Furley and the Ropers. :pancake:

Campfire type stories, but basically true so far as what is known.

There's a series of books called 'Missing 411,' about people disappearing in National Parks, skiing, etc. There are profiles for the types of disappearances, as well as 59 places identified where people normally disappear. There is even a 'Nevada Triangle,' much like the 'Bermuda Triangle.' These two documentaries are about cases covered in books.

But why do people remove and fold their clothes? Or set them as though the person was wearing when they vanished out of them? Would YOU remove your hiking boots to keep walking? Inexplicable sequences of events keep occurring, as some bodies are found so many miles from where they were last seen, crossing impossible terrain. Quickly. Others are never found. One turned up 13 months later, carrying a backpack full of memorabilia for such experiences as entering a marathon, claiming no recollection of anything.

And what of the small children, too young to make sense when they talk, telling of being carried away by animals far far away, where they are found. Did a 3 year old really walk such a great distance through the wilderness?

But these are all stories with police reports, hordes of search and rescuers participated in rescue efforts, family members present at the moment they suddenly dropped out of sight. Forever. . . .

You can read the 7 interviews or watch video of them. https://www.mysterywire.com/mysteries/strange-disappearances-in-national-parks-and-forests-the-missing-411-phenomena/

And the two documentaries.

Remember seeing this one at The Atlantic Theatre in North Long Beach as a kid.
A live band on stage afterwards along with the movie.
My band also played at concerts there in the early 1970’s.
