I built this bike to cruise around the central coast of California. Luckily I was able to link up with member PowerVelocity.com who operates out of Sacramento California. I made a couple trips to work for an afternoon and this is what we came up with... it is fast and powerful... I am soooo happy! Next upgrades will be a 24fet PowerVelocity controller and a QS 273!
The Following bike parts were purchased directly from PowerVelocity.com
-EEB frame
-the Battery (24s20p) is a custom battery
-18fet sinewave controller (available in parts for sale section)
-wheels and kickstand
-throttle and analyst
-17" rear wheel and he did the lacing to the motor
I pulled together the rest...
-MXUS V3 3t
-Fox 40 fork
-Rockshox Vivid 240mm 600lb rear coil shock
-Risse racing upper crown with Conquer components direct mount stem
-Pro-Taper ATV mid rise Atv Handlebars (had to use shims 28.6-31.8)
-Avid Code 4 piston front brake w/ 203mm disc
-Magura mt5e 4 piston rear w/203mm disc
-SRAM x7 shortcage with 5 speed twist shift
-34t front with chain guard
-14t-34t rear 5spd freewheel
-crank brothers 50/50 pedals
-vintage icon XC cranks
-Electra townie saddle
-19" cheap front wheel (in the process of lacing a 21" excel takasago with a kenda tire)
-Shinko 241 front and rear
-THE fenders from the late 90's temporarily until I make my own.
It is 100.4v fully charged and I think it's set at 60a right now.
I can go about 50mph, but I think it has more...
It weighs about 80-90lbs
