This is my 2nd E-bike (1st was an eBay 1000W DD Hub) and my first BBS02. I built it entirely from parts purchased online. I am very impressed with the bike so far - it is nearly silent, can climb any hill I've tried to ride it up (10-15% grades), and still can hit about 28 mph. I haven't had any chain or drivetrain issues and it rides very smoothly. I may eventually get a Lekkie Bling Ring though cause 38T is just slightly too small for most of my riding.

I added a custom QR code sticker on the motor unit that links to ES in case anyone is curious while I have it parked around town.

The range seems to be roughly comparable to my old DD hub. The bike is much more agile and accelerates far better though. My commute involves a lot of climbing, so a mid-drive makes way more sense than a DD hub for me.
