This obsession with always being on the attack of anything Trump says gets so funny when CNN is forced to run a retraction that STILL makes their own false assertion:

"From Wednesday, August 28, through Monday, September 2, the information provided by NOAA and the National Hurricane Center to President Trump and the wider public demonstrated that tropical-storm-force winds from Hurricane Dorian could impact Alabama," the statement read. "This is clearly demonstrated in Hurricane Advisories #15 through #41, which can be viewed on the center's website.

"The Birmingham National Weather Service's Sunday morning tweet spoke in absolute terms that were inconsistent with probabilities from the best forecast products available at the time."

The point being the NOAA is pointing out that there was NO "False statement" by Trump about the hurricane possibly going thru Alabama, although CNN and others have FALSELY kept touting that there was. It all begins with the National Weather Service being "Inconsistent with probabilites" while the warning of hit hitting Alabama was being reported by the NWS. At the same time that they have those Advisories #15 through #41 the Birmingham office set the erroneous tweet:

"Alabama will NOT see any impacts from #Dorian. We repeat, no impacts from Hurricane #Dorian will be felt across Alabama," the tweet read. "The system will remain too far east."

But then CNN has an inconsistency of their own. In the very article admitting that Trump had NOT made a false statement, their lead is:
