By the time we got to the hill we had all tried the optibike and seen the BMX in action. It was no surprise to see it fly up the hill. Optibike seems very well made, light and looks pretty good but for the price I would rather build my our bike which is faster, more fun and the cost is massive difference. If hill climbing is its party trick it needs more practice.
