Since you are driving the wheel using the outer diameter of the motor as a friction drive, you must have a system that prevents the power wires from becoming tangled due to the rotation of the motor. Please describe this system.

On this board an 'outrunner' motor is used, the wires are in the center that is not rotating.

what about using a 6mm shaft for friction drive? with 70 mm wheels and 750kv it should be 15 mph.

dual drive so the wear is a little bit less. that's not a lot of friction area, but if you want low performance and light weight?
